Get your app listed
Sterling Pick lists apps for Mac, iPhone, iPad and the rest of Apple’s platforms that meet a published standard. You apply, a person reviews your app by hand, and if it passes, it’s listed with our review and the Sterling Pick badge.
How it works
- Apply. Tell us about the app, upload its icon and screenshots, and give us a way to use the full version, such as a TestFlight link or a test account.
- Pay the review fee, $99. It pays for the review, whatever the outcome. If you withdraw before the review starts, we refund it.
- We review it against our nine criteria. If we need something, we ask. Then we tell you our decision, with written reasons if we don’t approve it.
- If it’s approved, you can list it for $249 a year. The offer is open for 60 days. Once you’ve paid, your app goes live with our review, and you get the badge.
- Every year we check the app again before the listing renews.
Prices are in US dollars, plus VAT where it applies.
What the fees don’t buy
- Approval. Only the review decides, and apps that don’t meet the standard aren’t listed.
- A better place. Lists are never ordered by payment.
- Our words. We write the review and the listing. You can ask us to correct facts, but not to change our opinion.
